Welcome, spooky friends! We’re now halfway to Halloween, and for those of us who love this holiday, the countdown to the spookiest day of the year has officially begun. It’s time to start planning those costumes, ordering supplies for your epic decorating the house, and planning for getting everyone into the Halloween spirit!. This year, Disney Parks is celebrating Halfway to Halloween with exciting festivities, including the upcoming “Haunted Mansion” film. To join the celebrations, Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort are offering a variety of delicious treats that are sure to make your tastebuds scream with delight.
Walt Disney World Resort
At Walt Disney World Resort, the festivities begin on April 20 and end on April 23. Here are some of the highlights:
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort: Indulge in the Madame Leota Chocolate Cake, a mini Devil’s Food Cake filled with dark chocolate ganache topped with chocolate glaze and marshmallow webs. You can also try the Whoopie Monster, a spiced apple whoopie pie with marshmallow buttercream and caramel.
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa: Sink your teeth into the Jack O’ Lantern Mickey Cake Pop, a jumbo pumpkin-spiced yellow cake pop enrobed in orange-colored white chocolate. You won’t want to miss the Bewitching Minnie Cupcake, a chocolate cupcake topped with chocolate cream sandwich cookies for ears, an edible witch hat, and Halloween sprinkles.
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort: Enjoy the Kakamora DOLE Whip Waffle Bowl. It’s DOLE Whip served in a waffle bowl with Moana-inspired white chocolate and milk chocolate-covered pretzel sticks.
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and Disney’s Pop Century Resort: Landscape of Flavors and Everything POP Shopping and Dining offer the Donald Duck Candy Corn Sipper.
Disney Springs
If you’re at Disney Springs, stop by Gideon’s Bakehouse for the Pumpkin Cheesecake Snack Cakes, a gourmet treat featuring a layer of the softest spice cake topped with pumpkin cheesecake and dipped in high-quality dark chocolate. - Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen and Pooh Corner: Try the Minnie Witch Apple, a Granny Smith Apple dipped in caramel with marshmallow ears enrobed in milk chocolate and dipped in white chocolate and orange M&M’S chocolate candies placed all over and rolled in purple sugar. You can also enjoy the Oogie Boogie Crisped Rice Treat, an Oogie Boogie-shaped crisped rice treat dipped in green, white chocolate with a dark chocolate face or the Jack Skellington Cake Pop, a vanilla cake pop dipped in white chocolate with dark chocolate face.
- Trolley Treats and Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff: Try the Minnie Witch Apple and the Oogie Boogie Crisped Rice Treat.
- California Churro: Satisfy your sweet tooth with the Halloween Churro, a churro rolled in cinnamon sugar, drizzled with peanut butter and chocolate sauce, and topped with peanut butter candy pieces.
